Would you use your iQ as your main daily driver? More importantly do you think the iQ would actually be a practical daily driver or would you get something else to daily drive?

Bought the iQ with the sole purpose of being my daily driver.
Still have my F-150, but I love thumbing my nose at the oil companies.
44 MPG is pretty easy to take...

Agreed. Bought my Sion iQ so my previous daily (1996 Suzuki JX, 210,000 miles) can retire to weekends of 4x4'ing and light hauling ass.etts.

I had a company car for 13 years. Last December I lost that perk, so I had to buy a new car to use as a daily driver since I am a field auditor. I get mileage reimbursement so this money is actually paying for my IQ. I like this car more and more each day, especially when I pump gas.

Mine isn't a daily driver but I can't help driving it to work a few days a month, just too much fun!

I have a Vanagon for a daily driver...

And a 1982 Toyota Pickup with 40,000 original miles that I drive a few times a month...

I would assume that the purpose of purchasing a car like the iQ is to daily drive it... so my answer would be yes.

My new iQ is my new daily car. My commute is about 75 miles per day so, even though I love my Honda Element, the gas mileage was not cutting it.

That's crazy! But I suppose it's a good commuter car, compared to what you had before.

When I first joined the forum, I lived in Newport Beach, so I was looking into an iQ as a second car (while keeping my Evo parked most of the time or using it just for pleasure) not because of a commute but because parking in Newport Beach is VERY crowded, with visitors going to the beach on a daily basis, along with local college students piling several people into one house (and taking up more street parking as a result). But I moved to a different city with a completely different parking situation and am less than two miles from work, so I ended up not really having much of a need for an iQ anymore.

But as a side note, there's a guy I know on an Evo forum where his commute is about the same as yours, so he puts on upwards of 150 miles daily on his Evo, which I think has over 270,000 miles by now.

Although my round trip to work is only 15 miles or so, I retired my 99' Honda passport because of gas and parking situation at the casino employee parking garage. Now I don't have to do a 3- point to park in tight spaces.

I bought my iQ solely for a daily driver. I was tired of pumping premium in both cars. I now save my 405HP VW GTI for the weekends.
