Will we be able to use just regular unleaded gas or do you think to get prime mile per gallon numbers we will need to be using a premium or higher octane gas for the IQ??

With the way gas prices are still fairly expensive I'm hoping we still get to use regular

I assume it is only a small single tip exhaust on the back of the car, right?
Yeah, I would imagine so. I doubt they are going to go dual or anything. It would look bad anyways.

Hopefully it won't be a big fart can exhaust.
I hate those rattletraps on civics and stuff. I would go for something a little louder, but the free flowing part is where I am concerned. You don't need noise for free flowing. It is all in the design of the mufflers and the bends in the piping.

From the top 10 most efficient cars of 2008/09:

Smart for Two: 33 City/41 Hwy, Base Price: $11,590. 1.0-liter 3-cylinder runs on high-priced premium fuel with only 70 hp. Small, affordable 2-seat car that has a small engine, capable of saving you a lot of money

1.0 liter :D :D

I wouldn't expect it to run on anything more than regular gas. Premium gas in your Scion IQ just seems absurd to me :p

and I never knew that Smart Cars required premium gas... thank goodness I don't own one of those... I love regular gas hehe (I'm not cheap, I'm resourceful hehe)
