The R & D team for Tanabe Japan was in town last week and they had my iQ for two days. They measured it for a front strut tower brace, under frame brace and an exhaust system. While it was there they installed a set of Tanabe NF210 springs. The springs give about a 1.5 inch drop. We are going to try these for a week and then put on the more aggressive DF210 springs with a 2 inch drop. So far the ride on the NF210's has been very pleasant.

You can notice the difference in the front wheel well. Less of it is showing.

After riding for 600 miles on the Tanabe NF210 springs I can report that I am very pleased with them. The ride is just a little more harsh than the stock springs but the stock ride is not that of a luxury car to begin with. If you are looking for a sport spring to reduce the wheel gap by half and give you a little more road feel then this could be the spring for you.

The Tanabe DF210 was not tested on my iQ. It appears that the drop would be too aggressive for the stock struts and shocks.
