all iQ in Germany
Petrol 1,0Liter and 1,3Liter
Diesel 1,4Liter
have discs (brakes) on all four "legs" , no drums.

I think it was only the VERY early iQ's that had drum brakes on the rear.

No, still in some countries and in North America too: drum brakes on the rear.

Switzerland / Belgium / ... for the 1,0 liter engine no discs

in France too, only four discs, if you buy one IQ with drums it's a "import"

I'm not sure what caused the lapse of judgement and caused Scion to give us rear brake drums...I'm jealous of the four wheel disc brakes you all have.

If it's possible to install in Toyota IQ, it's possible to install in Scion IQ.....

The Scion iQs are not equipped with discs rear, dashboard (see posting #6), glovebox, smaller roominess in the rear seatingarea,...
but the have one more airbag and a storage "box" under the passenger seat, an extra bulb for high beam and the car is a little bit longer.....
