I try to find out what is the actual size of the thread to screw on the knob so that i can get an extender. I thought it was 8mm thread pitch. But when i bought this extender Polished Shift Knob Extension for Auto Automatic Gear Shifter 94mm Extended 3 75 | eBay . It was a bit big so it doesn't fit in the shift rod. So does anyone know what size does the IQ have?

From what I've been able to find on the internet it's 8X1.25.

yes that's the smallest size. I got that 8mm and it doesn't fit. So not exactly sure what size the IQ got.

So far searching comes up with M8x1.25 . I haven’t tested it though. (Home Depot run may be in order). It seems there’s an M8X1.0 that you can try as well. If I can find my old shift knob I’ll bring it to Home Depot and check with their bolts…
