I bought and installed the black, Sedona Suede dash cover from
Dash Topper for $53 w/free shipping. Bohemian bought one also
but his is the all suede one without the breathing holes.

The black matches the interior perfectly and fits the dash
perfectly once you install it with the velcro strips as per the
instructions, the velcro makes the cover follow and conform
to the dash lines very crisply and look really custom made.

Here's some pics:

I bought it through the same people that advertise on this site, and,
I bought just the basic kit, I thought the full kit would would look too
busy and not as good. In fact, I never even used all the pieces of the
basic kit. And, it's NOT simulated wood, I bought the REAL MEDIUM
BURL basic kit, though they do carry the simulated wood kits too for
cheaper bucks. Here's their link:

I got mine from AutoAnything.com and it looks like their a bit cheaper. Took about a week to get mine.
Well yes, and no....you bought the standard full suede one for $47 w/free shipping, which
would be $45 w/free shipping where I bought my cover, BUT, Auto Anything did not offer the
higher priced Sedona Suede one that I bought for $53, even though its the same manufacturer
...and thats the only one I wanted as they have a more of a sport look with the perforated
holes than just the standard full suede one you bought. I've bought this Sedona Suede for
several previous vehicles and I think they are worth the difference in price....imho. But, its a
matter of preference, yours is nice too....

They do offer the Sedona Suede one also, but your right a few bucks more for it. 56.95

Well, there ya go, Auto Anything was a few bucks higher than buying where I
did, but you got yours faster than I got mine.....I'm a "when I see it, I want it
now..." type of guy, so if I knew I could have got it a week quicker, I probably
would have paid the extra $4 and bought it from where you got yours, now
that I see that they do sell the Sedona Suede.....

Thank you, mistergib ! I checked out the site for the wood grain dash kits and even watched their videos. I'm with you on just the basic kit. Are you pleased with the Real Medium Burl color ? Does it look as good to you as it does in your pictures ?

Yeah, I'm pleased with the color, though the color was a little different than
I had expected....going from past experience with B&I dash kits. It was
between it and the black, Real Carbon Fiber, (RBCF)....I chose the wood.

The pieces I used do look really good except for the one on the shifter cover,
it did have some flaws in it, not real bad, but noticeable to me. So I contacted
CARDiD and they are supposed to be sending me out a replacement piece on
May 31st. Keep in mind, all your pieces will probably be fine, stuff happens.

You have eased my mind ! I love the color that you choose and it's going to be my next upgrade.

Thank You, Dugger.................

Too bad you can't get black with red stitching !

I agree, red and black are so cool together.... Another benefit to these dash covers
is also to cut down on interior heat, glare, and even a tiny bit more of road/engine
noise. I believe them to be a win-win addition as long as they are made and installed
to fit and sit properly. And these certainly do all of the above.

@Maggiebite
My family's cars have always had them, seems to be the first thing to get installed.
I don't believe it's purely cosmetic, like mistergib mentioned there are some benefits to it.
