I recently moved the front passenger seat forward and back to show a friend how much room was in the back of my iQ. Now the seatbelt warning light and passenger air bag 'on' display lights remain on even though there is nothing/no one in the seat. I have to hook up the seatbelt on an empty seat to stop all the annoying warnings. Is this due to loose wiring or some faulty switch? Can anyone share a solution? THANKS!

Check to see if you may have dislodged a connection when you moved the seat. If it appears to be connected, ensure it's on tight by, maybe, disconnecting and connecting it again. I haven't had this problem. I ride with a passenger in my back seat at least 3 times a week when my friend comes to my place to carpool with my roommate and me to the gym. The passenger seat gets moved forward and back every time we go.

There are multiple connectors if you look under the seat, per Rex, I would guess one of them came apart or at least loose.
