Hello everyone, I’m new in the iq world just picked up a 2012, and it’s all new to me. I’m not really seeing anything for references for cross reference parts I’m also in the diesel world so gas saver tuner low to the ground and can barely move out of its own way is still a blast to drive. I would love to get some ideas for reliable non car killing upgrades. Headlight housing that aren’t crazy priced would be great. Throw back to the 90s with under car lighting and interior lights because the 1 led bulb sucks. Any helpful information would be great thank you.

I did a search and found some threads on improving the lighting inside the iQ. Are you looking specifically to upgrade that monocle light, adding light, or both?

More than 1 light would be great I saw that it can be tapped into so that opens up lots of Amazon strip lighting options but want it to all be hidden and clean almost factory though any help is great thank you.

I did find this wiring info. I believe it is in the area where the side airbag is:

Dome light wire hock up

Need help on finding the hot (positive) side to tie in 4 LEDs I put in the rear cargo area. Tided the 4 into 1 and grounded back of the car and ran one hot to the front but need the color of the positive. Want to have them come on with the sorry stock dome light. Does any one know how many or...

I did see that thread too you can access the same wires directly that go into the dome light that so you don’t have to mess with the a pillar or risk damaging an airbag if you have to fish it through

I don’t have the time for that, but I refused it once and have zero hesitation to do it again
