Keeping your car cool in the summer time

summer is bearing down on us hard and anyone who parked there cars out in the sun know the dilemma we have. luckily i found an article on autoguide.com about how to keep your car cooler during the hot summer months. theres still a few more months of unbearable heat ahead of us so its a good idea to read their tips. heres the article on autoguide.

That's a pretty handy guide. I burned my butt so many times from my leather interior. Also the steering wheel gets unbearable when I park outside. I should probably look for a good set of gloves I can use.

If you think of it, give the wheel a half turn before turning off the ignition. When you get back in, the part you hold should be cooler.

This is gonna be really helpful! Now I won't have to deal with a smoking hot interior.
Great info! Fortuntaly for me these are things I have done for some time. Hot cars are no fun.
I hate those windshield blockers. They remind me of the cheezy ones from the 80's with the sunglasses on them, but hey at least I don't live somewhere that it is very sunny!

I've really been debating getting one of those. Its very functional but it will look really ugly in the car.
