i'm quite interested in the upcoming Scion iQ EV but what scares me is if I run out of juice while on the road. I would really hate to be stuck on the side of the road without anything to charge the car to get it going once again.
is their any type of service or product we can use if this happens?
It probably depends where you live to some extent. I think EVs are going to be a game-changer in regards to how people plan their driving activities, mainly due to range issues. The more infrastructure that goes into place the better, but in many places efforts in this direction are scarce. I keep up with several EV blogs to see how things are going for the early adopters. Also, if the iQ EV uses Tesla technology (like the Toyota Rav 4 EV) it apparently has better range.
