iQ colors

around me i see lots off Black IQ, but White is the most ( it's so nice on sunlight... , mine is White pearl)

Mine is white also, but I honestly can't think of a color that wouldn't look good (in some form) on an iQ. It's got enough charm to host some pretty vivid colors.

i have the gunmetal grey,and yes surfcitylocal the blue would have bin my second choice as well.its to bad we are all so spread out,it would be supercool to all meet up for a long leisurley cruise and stop for a coooooool beverage.

Any love out there for the Black Currant? I've only seen one at a dealer so far, but I liked it.
Would you call it purple, or more of a dark red?

I wanted red, Lava was too orange...

As you can see it really is a Pacific Blue Metallic, with a little Grayish Blue Metallic.

I saw one that color at Longo Scion in El Monte last night. It is very difficult to identify the color in person. Nice color though.

Hey surfcitylocal, I thought I saw you there...just wasn't sure it was you...didn't see your IQ. Where did you hide it. You were wearing an AT & T shirt right? I was sitting right behind you...

Frankly, upon consideration, I can't imagine any color that would not look good on an iQ.

+1 I would also have bought a red one if available...

Agreed. I dunno how well the brochures and the web pages are color synched to the actual color, but my first impressions of the "hot lava" on the iQ was "should come with a red rubber nose and a big rainbow Afro wig for the driver."

I've since reconsidered, having seen one thugged up a bit with black tint, tires, and some vinyl. I suppose anything's possible.

I bought the black sand pearl because any vinyl color on top of it will pop like neon candy (will be easy to overdo it when I get around to vinyl). White and silver metallic both tint/fade out other nearby added colors. And none of the other available colors are neutral: you'd be stuck with one color scheme for life.

I went with black myself, but if they had offered it I would have likely chosen yellow. I've seen a few shots of iQs in that color around the net (custom paint jobs I assume) and they looked very nice.

I had to have the Black Currant Metallic. It looks nothing like the color chip in the brochure. It is purple but it looks more like plum to me. It seems to have some reddish tones in it. In Japan (and maybe Europe) they have a purple called Amethyst Metallic. It looks a lot darker and more to the blue end of purple.

I thought I wanted the white but once I saw that the pearl effect on it was not that strong, I decided against it. Only one dealer in the entire state had the Black Currant and I decided to check it out. It was love at first sight.

This is my first car that you can really call a color in many years. The last 12 new cars have been black, gray or silver so those colors were all ruled out from the start.

I am wondering if they will do the same thing they did with the xA and the tC the first year. The Release Series cars were red. I think the iQ would look great in a true red.
