Relatively new owner of a Scion IQ 2012.

Although I've got the heat off & the dial set to clear or 'air', warm air continues to come through the vents. Is this due to the engine & it's close proximity to the driver & passenger? We have to periodically lower the windows to cool things off. It's cold now but I dread the coming summer :)
Thanks!

Welcome! Do you have the manual control system or the digital/automatic?

The manual dial that has the blue to red gradient is kind of poorly engineered. I find that even a few notches from maximum coldness it is warm enough in the cabin. How far do you have it set? (Hopefully not max)?

Yeah, it's 32F outside right now, but I do recall it's a bit warm even on "cold". It gets to comfortably cold with A/C on, but if you want to keep the A/C off - crack the passenger window open and put the fan on OFF.
