I just read an article about the Scion IQ it said that the IQ as a two seat car meaning that the rear seats are folded most of the time to use the rear area as trunk space most of the time.

The article said that the IQ actually has more Storage/Trunk space than the new Camry, I was shocked to read that.

But have tested it a few times, and every time the wife and i have a lot of items, she say's there's no way all that will fit.

I say dont worry about, it's only small on the outside, it's big on the inside.

It's a little car that thinks it's a big car.

Hey LaLa

great pics, i thought about how much more room i would get if the seats were removed, but I do have a daughter that rides with us once in a great while.

That pic with the 63" big screen TV, I wonder if they actually got that inside the car, I dont see how it would have fit.

I would like to have seen a video of them putting that TV into that small car.

I did see a video on you tube where a couple took an IQ camping, and it showed all the stuff that they were going to pack, it was, stuff like a cooler, 2 sleeping bags, tent, food, Mini BBQ, blankets, and a bunch of other stuff

I'll be pulling out my rear seat to make room for the air suspension and audio system. I did take a drive to Vegas with a buddy of mine. We each had a medium sized suitcase, tool bag and backpack in the rear. Still had plenty of room. Try that with a Smart car. :)

I camp a lot on motorcycles (and even scooters) where my friends and I pack our own gear and strap it to our bikes -- bare minimum. I've gone camping for 2 on my Smart car too. Everyone at the campground was surprised to see how much we were able to pack. That's because my roommate and I know how to pack light (with the motorbike camping mentality). But when we car camp, we take more things that we normally don't take (like 2 air mattresses, a cooler, more food, firewood, etc.) Can't wait to camp in the iQ in 2 months!
