I just installed a fog lights kit that bought from amazon ( which said OEM but sadly it was not so Im not happy) but anyhow. I installed it and popped in the switch. It works except the LED on the switch supposed to light up as well as the fog light symbol but it did not. I think it might have something to do with the wire harness. I do not how to trouble shoot for it. I tried to "homemade" a extra Yellow wire and stick it in one of the empty slot of the plug. But did not work. I post some picture here. If anyone know about electrical, please help. thanks. Automotive lighting Gauge Font Speedometer Circle

This happened to me also. Did you put in the new relay under the dash? At first my light wouldn't come on either; until I went back and pushed down on the relay again.
yes the relay is under the dash. Light turned on but just I want the small LED light indicate ON/OFF is lighted also. That's my problem.
Did u test it with the main headlight on ??? or at least at the fist setting on truning the small light??
yes i tried it. But i noticed that the dash showed the light when i turn on. So I think I content with it rather fighting with the LED on the bottom.

Hi, I have a question. For the factory OEM fog light switch, at the OFF position, does the LED symbol light up when the parking lights or headlights are turned on?
Thanks.
I just checked mine it is supposedly the correct one. (I bought it online from some store maybe on eBay with high ratings so I can't be 100% sure it is authentic). There is no square LED up top just the fog symbol. It does appear to light up but no difference with fog light ON nor OFF. The instrument cluster in front of the steering wheel has a fog light indicator that goes ON and OFF.

Thank you. Your switch appears factory item. Does the switch light up with just the PARKING LIGHTS on? On the facebook group, someone told me that the switch does not light up unless it is at the "on" position.
I will try to check in the early morning when it is still dark because it was hard to see when I finally remembered to check this morning. I believe it turns on when the parking light is ON. (I had to cover it with my hand to see the glow. It acts just like the rest of the group but I did not verify the USB has a light)...
It lights up with the lock symbol (only) and the traction control. The USB does not. All three light up with the parking lights ON. (y)

Thanks. So with the parking lights on, the fog light switch lights up. That means that there is a illumination wire that feeds the switch. You also stated that the lighted symbol does not change intensity regardless of being off or on so the switch does not give the status of the fog lights but via a dash light instead. Great, I will be using an aftermarket switch then.
Thanks.
