Hello all....looking forward to test driving an iQ. My dealer is on perpetual lookout for info.

I drove Sprites and Spitfires back in the day and, more recently, MINIs. I drive a Yaris now, which I like so much I bought two! Still....for me something smaller would be nice.

Have heard nothing from the dealer lately, but they are right down the street.

This looks a lot like my Sprite. Same model, color and all:

This looks a lot like my old Spitfire. Again, same model, color:

They were both a complete blast to drive.

Ohh these car's. I think I saw show on Speed TV that featured these cars, some show to do with historic cars.

Too bad they don't builds cars like how they use to back in the days.

Do you still own the Sprite and Spitfire?

Sadly, no. They were great cars, but modern cars are nice (and safer and more reliable), too.

Yea I bet they were good. I just love old cars like that, the feeling you get when you go behind the wheel of one of those is just awesome, just raw power and a shell, no fancy gadgets!

I picked up my iQ Friday afternoon...Blizzard Pearl. I drove it to dinner w/ friends that night. The dealer said it was the first iQ sold in DFW (he checked the computer) but if anyone got theirs before 6pm I'd be super glad to be proved wrong.

Love this car!!!!!

Congrats on your new iQ. I'm guessing DFW is Dallas Fort Worth? I'm a Cali resident to I'm not too hip on the abbreviation.
