Hey guys!! Just got my first car (the wonderful 2012 iq), i have the stock rims on with the hub-caps which i feel look gross so i wanted to spice things up a bit and get some ESM 002 RS Style gold rims (my car is white, and the rims are anodized gold centers, with white lip) but i had questions about the fitment.

They come in the 4x100 bolt pattern but their sizes are 15×7/8, 16×8/9, or 17×8/9.

Which sizes do you guys think would be best for my iq? Also what size tire would be best for each rim size?

I have no other modifications at the moment so no lowering springs or anything. Thanks in advance!!

15x7 fits 195/60R15, but the offset looks about 2 cm too small.

TireRack lists a Sparco Terra wheel 15x7 but with a 35 mm offset, not 15 mm.

for OP: you can purchase your wheels based on this offset... I think the factory alloy wheels are 16 x 5.5 (et +45). so you want higher offset with wider wheels.

I don’t know why TapaTalk brings up these old threads as newly updated, but just to clarify the the original wheels I believe are 16 x 5.
