ECU remapping for Boost Cut

I'm not sure that is the only answer. The ECU on most cars today can be reflashed, but it is more of a question whether someone actually knows how to flash it or not. For all the time I have been on this board, no one has provided a satisfactory answer to that question other than the piggy back cpu that comes with the supercharger kit. If you live in an area with some import tuners or something functionally equivalent, it wouldn't hurt anything to call them to see if the ECU and CVT can be reprogrammed by them. We'd all need something like an SCT or Diablo tuner to do it if it can be done (come up with the flash files that is).

Came up in to this site... I see many options but I would like to know which is functional for my needs, best bang for the buck. What I really need to control is timing and fuel, no need for a 2step or other stuff... just fuel pressure and timing retard for when the boost comes in to avoid mu ecu closing throttle,also considering changing the throttle to a mechanic one.. need ur opinions.

Have you thought about AEM FIC? It should have no problem controlling the timing and adjusting for boost. Other than that, you're pretty much stuck with stand alones or crappy piggy backs like Emanage.

we are all stuck trying to get ecu remapping for our IQ, seems like no one is willing to take the risk on the oem scion one and end up with a brick.
I am looking at swapping out my CVT to a manual gearbox and will need to get the ECU for the manual gearbox swapped out too, I am looking at a Turbo conversion but wont attempt it until the trans is converted to Manual. The site you mentioned looks like it has programmable ecu, at least if you swap out he oem ecu with an aftermarket one you could just put the oem one back if it doesn't work.

I`m no expert on car electronics but I guess someone needs to take that leap of faith and buy one

I am custom fabricating a plug and play harness for her...using a Megasquirt. Lets see how it works out.

So... Finally (and thanks to this forum) a guy read about my need for a reprogramming and contacted me!! It seems the light at the end of the tunnel is shining hahahaha. I'll keep u updated! Let's see if I can finally finish my Turbo IQ project:muscle:?
