The iQ is on my short list of new cars. My current "play toy" is a 1993 Mazda Miata that will be very difficult to give up. It's in super excellent condition...looks and runs like the day it was new. Soooo I must wait until I see touch and feel a new iQ before I put it in my garage.

Thanks for your reply Iris. Safety is an important factor when considering a new car. My Miata isn't the greatest for safety and I'm aware of that. It does have air bags and a VERY quick ability to move out the way in case of a large SUV about to take me out. There is always the one you never see that can end it all. Again, I appreciate your remarks about safety. I will make that a major consideration when it becomes buying time.
