I’m trying to find reasonable priced coil overs and curious to if any other models of Scion or Toyota’s interchange with the iq for more availability of options any help is appreciated thanks everyone.

Hello. I hope I am not being annoying. Per parts.toyota.com there are no other models that the front struts nor rear shocks fit. That said I am amazed at how many choices there are regarding coilovers available for the iQ. Maybe just maybe someone will sell theirs second hand at a good price...

I tried CarID as I noticed they are a vendor here and posted something recently. They have the same coilover listed but out of stock.

I'm signed up for throtl newsletter but I've never ordered anything from them to be honest. They appear to be in San Diego where I have family. Maybe I can make a run down there if you have any issues. (Well, I'm not sure it's low enough price for you yet).

I think the OP is looking for a package that will lower the iQ.

Throtl in San Diego (if you can brave the bad BBB reviews) and SEMotors in Santa Fe Springs sells the Megan racing for just under $900 (before sales tax). HIRO Performance in FL sells their kit for just under $900 as well, if you’re willing to buy direct. (It is a very young company with a parent company)….

Was looking or some eBay specials or something I can find that will fit. I can’t find anything that cross reference to the iq that will fit and can’t find anything on the web for a cross reference either. I don’t know if ia parts will work or any other make or models? I’m so lost on trying to find stuff that fits.

I I appreciate all the help and time I’m guessing there’s no budget friendly way of doing it. I was trying to do it all for as cheap as possible or find a good used set off Facebook mp or something I just can’t do 900+ that’s just crazy.

As long as they are very usable, I’m very appreciative. So I’m into my 2012 iQ for 2k total and is my daily and is getting the paint recall done but body shop was cheap and now it’s going back for them to make it right so will post pics when it’s done and only 94k on odometer.
