After reading the article below that i posted in the link, it has me convinced that solar road's just might a big jump to being "green" and benefit us and future generations. This idea is said to cut greenhouse gases in half! Just imagine what we can do with energy storing solar roads being placed everywhere.

Great Idea, but at $4.4 Million/mile it's way too costly at the moment. If the economy wasn't in a rough stage it could be something to consider but it's not necessary to have.

When the demand for electricity is much higher, then we can start using things like these. EV cars are just starting to come out and a solar system to generate power for these vehicles will be needed, when last have you seen a EV charging station? Probably never or once if your in the few places of the world that has a handful of these set up.
