I would normally mount on the dash above the center, but that's taken up by the stereo. Have any of you found a mount that works well and will allow charging (near the plug). I'm taking a trip soon and need a way to ensure good hands free performance.

I bought one of these, it works great. I use it to hold my iPod at car shows.

Google cup holder cell phone mount for best prices.

I mounted a generic one on the stereo, not the best set-up imho since it can get very distracting..
i like Taz suggestion, gonna look into it myself

I have a dumb phone (the dumbest of them all) which stays mounted deep in my pocket out of sheer embarrassment. :)

I use either my front pocket or left pocket.
Having a iPhone 4S makes it really easy to make a call.
Just hold the button down till Siri asks what I want and tell her !
Works great thru the cars speaker system !

Left in my pocket as the media station has bluetooth, which is how mine connects.

Fish
I always connect for music and calls, but I was looking for something that wasn't too pricey to mount my phone for gps and easy access on a longer trip.
The Pro Clip looks pretty good, but for that money it should come with the actual phone holder. I may just use my Tom Tom for gps, then it won't matter much how my phone sits.
