Ok to remove the Alt you remove the battery. That is the first step. You have to remove the belts. Which means you have to remove passenger tire access the water belt from there.
Once the beltz are off you can losen bolts and remove. You dont have to fiddle too much with tension as the slack comes from the tensioner for the alt belt.
Get Altdata it has everything and there are really good Youtube vids to flesh out what is outlined above. Belts off and brackets for the alt is next look at the connection to the block how it connects. I took pics it helps. It is a 90 min job. You will need long rachet extension to loosen the tensioner. Push down on that extension and it spring down and loosen so you can get the alt belt off. The alt belt is inside the water pump belt which is why you need to remove the pass tire. It is tricky but make sure your belts are properly seated on the pullies. Good luck.
Water pump comes out the same way. After you take out the alt. If you are shwifty you can remove the water pump without completely taking off the alt. But that is another story
