Nice... what about horsepower and Price?
i wish we had more iQ specs, but from my research....Nice... what about horsepower and Price?
It's smart since every manufacture wants their own compact car like the iQ, and are in the process of developing it or already have. Hopefully we can get more specs and better idea of price sometime soon. sucks to wait like thisPrice is still being kept under wraps by Scion - smart hey? lol
Any more specs or is that about it? Shouldn't it be released anytime soon? I would assume they would've made an announcement already on pricing, specs, and everything.i wish we had more iQ specs, but from my research....
Price: about $15 000 Canadian for a base model iQ
Horsepower: With the 1.3 Liter motor gets 90 HP @ ????RPM

I agree with you to some point. I think the Yaris is sort out "outdated" even tho it's fairly new. It's just way too basic.I think he may be right, with the 15000 start price forgot were i read it, but if sold any higher, it will be to expensive, ie yaris MSRP is about 15 000 as welll, and same with the Mazda 2 .
so 15 000 would be a smart MSRP

The iQ on the other hand, I feel is far more advanced and has more to offer than something like a Yaris. Scion is a sporty/performance focused brand and them making something comparable to their own car, Yaris (Scion = Toyota) wouldn't make sense. I'd say the iQ is more comparable to a Smart car, Mini Cooper, Fiat 500, etc etc
They should market it on to that class ans give a higher feel towards it, if they want to put it towards the same class as a Fiat 500 or a mini cooper,
The interior ust be bang on, but then again isn't the SCION brand a lower and more affordable brand ?
The 2011 Scion IQ cranks out 90 horsepower and it is priced in the range of $16,000 - $18,405.Nice... what about horsepower and Price?
I tend to disagree with you price estimate. It will be competing with Hyundai Accent at $14,595, Fiat 500 at $15,500, Smart at $12,490, and Ford Fiesta at $15,500, and also keep in mind their Yaris is $13,155.The 2011 Scion IQ cranks out 90 horsepower and it is priced in the range of $16,000 - $18,405.
The only option for the US is likely to be the CVT transmission. Unfortunately. I would buy it unless it's over 16K.
I'm almost 100% sure we in the USA will have a CVT transmission in the Scion iQ. Just look at most of the vehicles coming out today and in the past few years a lot have been offered with CVT transmission. The only option for the US is likely to be the CVT transmission.
