    Tow car

Wondering if anyone uses the IQ as a tow car for a motorhome? We just purchased a 2012 IQ to pull behind our Mercedes Diesel 24 ft. We will be using a tow dolly.

I haven't personally seen the iQ used as a tow car but it seems like it would be a great vehicle to use for that. Small and light. I'm looking forward to seeing photos of it in action.

Yes, you need a tow dolly since iQ is not towable 4 wheels down.

I was hoping there would be more information here about towing my 2013 iQ behind my Thor Vegas RV. Has anyone used a trailer that the car can be driven up on? Should I just get a two dolly?

It's hard to find information on these iQ's. I used to own a diesel pusher and thought about towing a car. You can't go sightseeing in a diesel pusher. There are pros and cons to dollys, 4-down, and trailers. I think with this car you could get the smallest car-hauler available, but then you'd have to worry about where to store the trailer. With this car's short wheelbase and short front and rear overhang, it should be easy to get on and off of a trailer. You can back up a trailer if you get into a tight spot, while you can't back a dolly or 4-down car.
