    CHEAP interior sound proofing

Being a car lover from way back, I tend to watch all the car channels. While watching Garage Squad on the Velocity channel, they
said that to save 90% on the cost of that expensive sound insulation, to go to your local hardware store and buy a roll of adhesive
backed "duct" insulation......in case you're interested.....

I have a few buddies that have used such a product found at Home Depot. Works just as good as the expensive name brand products for much less cost. Just be careful to make sure it doesn't have a strong tar smell, that will ruin your driving experience until it clears up.
I'm a Haole. I live on the Mainland but my heart is in Hawaii.

Surf City is where I live, you can call me TAZ.

This is a very interesting find! Thank you for sharing!!!! (I love the light weight. I have some old Dynamat that I've never used. Definitely heavy)!

Lightweight & Cheap and easy accessible at HomeDepot or Lowe. Traditional Dynamat will add ton of weight to our car which is bad. I knows this is not at good as the real Sound Deaden Brand, but for me it is fine and better than nothing.
