Modifying dome light with yellow LED

I have recently bough a bag of '10X Amber Yellow High Power T10 Wedge 5730 Interior LED Lights Bulbs W5W 192 168' on ebay with a goal of modifying the dome light to something brighter and less white. Turns out they have a groove around the bulb that snaps into the dome lens of IQ making for a very easy mod:

    1. Remove old LED
    2. Snap in a new one (I put a rubber ring in the groove for an extra security)
    3. Cut the protruding plastic bit from the tail of the new bulb.
    4. Solder in the connector from the old LED to the new bulb.

Although this setup worked fine, it was still too dim. I've added a switch to bypass the resistors on the dome light board so I can play with the brightness.
