I put the stock Toyota emblems on my front/rear along with the "Toyota" on the rear. (And I found a "Size Matters" so put that underneat the "iQ" on the rear.

The only problem is a LOT of people come and check out the car at gas stations and at the stores so I always have to tell them it's, actually, Scion. (Most people think it's an electric car...not sure why.)

I just remembered, I have a pick a part junk yard near me. Do these places usually let you take just the emblems off vehicles? And if so, instead of ordering, what Toyota models should I look out for for the front and rear, does anyone know?

    thanks

I have part numbers but does a junk yard really have part numbers of emblems of the 6,000 vehicles they have? Serious question, not sarcastic

No, they would not. However, most would prefer to get new, undamaged emblems rather than something that's been sitting in a salvage yard where people pick, pry and tear apart a vehicle to get one part for which they are looking. Having the part number allows you to do that through the dealership parts network. More expensive, but easier than going on a fishing expedition to look for a car that makes up perhaps .001% of the cars sold in a given market.

I've fished in pick-a-part yards before, mostly for twenty year old common Toyota vehicles (an arm rest for the driver's seat of an original Toyota Van). Not something that I want to repeat, but to each his own.

I got ahold of someone there and they have a list of every car they have and where in the yard it's located.

From searching the list, I see they have a few Toyota models that should have correct size Toyota badges for the front and rear of the iQ, and they'll only cost a couple dollars each.

oh ok , i don't understand what is a "part Junk" so i give you part number for each badges

the front badge is the most difficult to find.

I have a Toyota iQ in the United Kingdom (my third) I love 'em. Does anybody out there in the US of A want to swap a set of Toyota iQ badges for your Scion iQ badges? Straight swap no money changing hands.
