    I think there were shorter ones that were a few bucks more expensive. So I got these. Plus, I wasn't exactly sure where these were to be mounted -- directly under the headlight (so I will need all 12" each side) or where the fog lights would have been (requires easy cutting of the strips). (That 24" means 12" per side. You get 2 strips.)

    Got it thanks. Did you just use the adhesive strip to mount and then drill a hole in the back of the plastic insert to run the wires? I think the ones I saw had an adhesive strip on them at Autozone.

    Yes, I used the adhesive backing. The black piece on the iQ has some grooved lines. I've smoothed them out as flat as possible to get the adhesive backing to stick better.

    Excellent thanks. Will get them and give it a shot. Now just to figure out the wiring. Should be able to ground anywhere but will try to tap into parking lights for hot wire. Thanks for all the replies.
