Five Axis Customizes All-New 2011 Scion iQ

As part of the North American debut of the all-new 2011 Scion iQ premium micro-subcompact car, Five Axis has created a special iQ show car for display at the 2010 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS). Five Axis’ iQ show car demonstrates the personal customization synonymous with all Scions.
Elegance and sophistication were the primary influences for the iQ show car. This is evident with its unique exterior color called Titanium, consisting of pearl bismuth silver that is accented with black chrome.
Inside, the special iQ show car is appointed with custom leather-trimmed seats and door inserts and an Ultrasuede® EcoDesign™ headliner. Unique upholstery is provided by Little John’s Interior Concepts and custom floor mats were provided by Chilewich.
Performance was enhanced with the installation of a TRD Custom Big Brake Kit and a Tein suspension. The iQ show car rides on 18-inch Yokohama S.drive tires mounted onto five AD S6:F wheels.

Five axis has done a lot modifications to concept cars. It helps the manufacturer target younger crowds that want to modify there cars and gives them ideas on what to do the cars when they come out.

Yeah, Five Axis makes a lot of stuff for Scion including body kits and other cosmetic stuff. Nicely designed IMO.

Scion should seriously consider providing us with this option from factory so we can guarantee paint match. I would be willing to pay upfront.

It's gonna be a really hard paint match even if Scion offers it straight from the dealership. It looks like a crazy metallic silver.

It would be up to Five Axis to get in there and talk to them to convince them to carry their parts. A long process. I doubt it will happen.

That requires a very serious relationship with the manufacturer. It used to be that getting a factory paint match was hugely difficult, but recently some companies have done it by adopting the same materials, processes and quality control checks.

Its not cheap, apparently, but it does work. That's probably what Five Axis should be shooting for.

Scion has cornered the market on the aftermarket upgrades and mods. Really amazing stuff is coming from five axis. The price on the majority of the after market products for scion also make it much easyer for anyone to get into custom.

Five:AD is offering signature models of the iQ has they have in the past with the xB (gen2) and the tC. You can order the kit from your dealer and have it installed.

The body kit final design is different from the one pictured at the auto show but will still look awesome as all their products do.

I'm getting mine done as soon as the iQ lands in December. I'm also getting my rims from them.

Check out their site for more info...

Has TOM's racing ever made aftermarket scion parts? Would be sick if they did, TOM's racing makes some top of the line parts.

I bet that SC430 wald kit with wheels cost you a pretty penny!
